| Hi! I'm Karen. Thanks for visiting my website! I'm happy to share with you some of my favorite photos of the families, children, babies and high school seniors I 've photographed. As a mother, I know how fleeting time with your children can be. One moment you’re celebrating the miracle of pregnancy, and the next youʼre struggling to hold back tears as your child steps onto the school bus for the first time. Then, in a blink, your baby is a high school senior and nearly ready for the world. My world is about family. I photograph families, children and high school seniors in traditional, semi-traditional and lifestyle settings, both in my studio and on location in the Cincinnati area. My husband and daughter are the joys of my life and offer me endless inspiration and support for the work I do as a full-time portrait photographer. I hope to inspire visitors to my website to reflect on the most important people in their lives: their family. I'm often surprised when a new client tells me that they have many pictures of their children as babies, toddlers and growing up, but have never had a professional family portrait taken. I'm honored then they choose me to capture who they all are now. Today. It's wonderful being a small part of their family history. I am a proud and active member of Professional Photographers of America and Professional Photographers of Ohio. I have extensive experience with digital photographic imagery (both color and black and white), which includes digital portrait editing. I use state-of-the-art equipment and software. My studio, Greenleaf Photo Studio, is located in the Hyde Park area of Cincinnati. The studio is fully equipped for year-round portrait sessions. Greenleaf Photo Studio also includes a garden with a small pond, stream and waterfalls. (Many of the photographs in my portfolios show my private garden with the pond in the background). This is a very relaxing place to unwind, let your hair down and enjoy watching your children play. I'm happy to share this special place with my clients!
